SPCA Nepal organized an Animal Health Camp in Kathmandu on the 4th of October to mark The World Animal day. The health camp was organized with an aim to medicate ill and wounded animals in and around Pashupatinath area of the valley. In the event, the animals were also vaccinated against rabies and were given mange shots. A total of 63 dogs where treated and vaccinated by the SPCA volunteers.World Animal Day is celebrated each year on 4th October.

SPCA has launched adoption campaign. SPCA Nepal rescues and shelters animals and on recovery they are offered for adoption or returns them back to their community.
